At RMCPL, we believe the betterment of society and the environment is not a job to be left to a few. It’s a responsibility to be shared by all. That is why sustainability is at the core of our business principles and operations.

Living up to our responsibility for climate protection, we constantly try to become more efficient in our production and energy use. We increasingly make use of electricity from renewable sources and we also develop fundamentally new low-emission technologies. RMCPL is committed to developing green technologies, with a focus on resource optimization, the use of alternate resources, and a policy of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Along the same lines, we have a Brick Making initiative, where liquid effluent is recycled and solid effluent is converted into bricks. We have also installed a 100 KW capacity PV solar plant.

We are also committed to protecting the environment, providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, and improving the quality of life in the communities where we operate. We work with regulatory agencies, local organizations, and community representatives towards making substantial improvements in our performance as well as meaningful contributions to benefit the society. We have also contributed time and resources to benefit educational, cultural, and environmental preservation programs in our communities.

RMCPL is always mindful of its corporate social responsibilities. Determined to ensure the safety of its production facilities, the company rigorously complies with laws and regulations. Other initiatives include Responsible Care activities to review and act on environmental, safety and health concerns associated with the production of chemicals.

In its operations, RMCPL fully understands the responsibility it has when dealing with chemicals, however, it also takes a broader view. The company is committed to making a contribution that reaches beyond its long-standing concerns with the production process, safety, and the environment.
